REMINISCE

Hands clutched together as we dogged our feets into the cold sand of the beach.
We left prints of them behind, indicating lasting memoirs
To us,we thought this is how it would be,forever. His radiant face brightened my whole life, if there's anything I could ever ask for is that this day would never end,but that would never happen. Promises he made he didn't fulfill because "death" snatched him before his time. So now I'm left with memories,day dreaming has become a job,my job. So please don't say I'm wasting my time,perhaps you might say so cos you haven't experienced love before.
It's sad knowing that the one whom I claimed to lock my hand in his was long gone, buried beneath the very sand we walked thru and now it's just me,walking thru that very spot we both dogged our foot in but the water had washed what we left behind and surprisingly,my memories has started to fade,so was this love,can I move on or should I continue to day dream and try to revive those memories. Are they worth it😖...
