Evolution(The modern trend)
How did we even get here where abnormal things now seen as normal gets approved
Where putting on of waistbead has become a norm because it's on trend
Where porn is now seen as something that should be adorn
And going to church no longer sync with worshipping the creator rather HIS creation
How did we get here
Forgetting our root thereby taking a different route
We left our homes with a dream so big, we forgot to weigh it, to know how to be prepared
So, we fell on thorns,tried to grow back only to get torn
This generation where both the old and young are striving for God knows what
It's a sin not to be rich, not to have the hustling spirit,so no matter what
It got to be a do or die affair to be among forbes top 30 at least
How on earth did we get here
From heaven HE watches the people HE loves claim they love HIM too
Oh such betrayal,worst than Judas, at least twas just him
HE watches clearly how this evolution rapidly takes place
Should HE call it an end, or should HE not, when no-one is neither cold nor hot
We've all turned to be spirit filled lukewarm Christian, at least I accept HIS stain, we say
In order not to fill ourselves on the guilt, we send false relieving words to our minds
How did we really get here
Where judging others was an easier remark to make on them
And our words were not edited before sent out, knowing how it can be sharper than ...you can help fill it
How the media became the best place to purchase a bag full of peace
And in few seconds, when the dose is down, we are left in pieces
How did we get here
Where our lives is being revolved around the media;waking each day to it, sleeping each night on it
Approval we seek on a daily basis comes from the masses, there's no self love any longer, now the media eyes view is ascertained
Is this it; THE EVOLUTION???
